BACKGROUND ON THE CONCERT
This event forms part of Celebrate Durban events hosted by the Emmanuel Cathedral as an annual event around the month of September every year.
Our concert is branded Cardinal’s concert in honour of our – Southern Africa’s Cardinal for all Roman Catholic churches and our Archdiocese of Durban representative – His Eminence Wilfrid Cardinal OFM.
Since its first presentation in 2002, this concert has become an annual event where the church opens an invitation to the community to use the venue free of charge and share the stage with other community, our church groups and professional groups in our city.
