MINI WORLD YOUTH DAY 2017
The Mini World Youth Day, which the Archdiocese of Durban will be hosting on behalf of the Southern African Catholic Bishops’ Conference in the Durban Exhibition Centre, is from Wednesday, 6th until Sunday, 10th December 2017.
It is an event for Catholic Youth between the ages of 16 and 35. The importance of this occasion in evangelising Youth and Young Adults is especially underlined by the intention of Pope Francis in focusing the attention of the next Synod of Bishops on young people. Our theme for MWYD this year is “Young People, Faith and Vocational Discernment.” The event is also a celebration of Christianity together as Southern Africans.
Mini World Youth Day can be found across all social media platforms as a way of reaching the youth of today, encouraging them to find out more about this exciting event, and possibly be encouraged to attend as well as share their experience online.
